Newark Community High School encompasses approximately 100 square miles, serving the communities of Newark, Millbrook, Lisbon, Helmar, and the surrounding area.

Our goal is to prepare students to be world-class citizens. We strive to prepare our students to live and work in a global society that is drawn closer together through technology. The Education to Careers program provides each and every student opportunities to explore their interests and talents in relation to the ever expanding career opportunities and the increasing demands of a global economy.

Students attending NCHS are actively involved in their coursework and school functions. NCHS offers quality teaching, a broad- based curriculum, and a supportive learning environment where students, staff, and community work as partners. Students have access to state-of-the-art technology that brings worldwide resources to every classroom. We continually explore teaching and learning opportunities based upon evolving research and technology.

There are many opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities including athletics, drama, student government, and a variety of organizations. There is a long tradition of community interest and support of the school.
